Teyana spills the tea…

So today I did my normal check up on what the Breakfast Club has that’s new.. To my surprise Teyanna Taylor was on there today and of course they spoke on her old “Friend” Tae Heckard love triangle with hooper Brandon Jennings….

Usually I expect the messy conversation and some shade throwing.. But naw it’s was real yet comedic at the same time. Teyanna told her side and states her truth without bashing either party… While Charlamagne, Yee, and Envy made it funny buy adding a little “People’s Court” swag to it… From what I was told the music played after the interview only made it funnier, how I hate that I missed the live interview this morning…

Foundation where are you?

Remember the days when you’d meet a guy/girl and you just wanted to get to know them?… That time you meet them and you exchanged numbers and stayed up on the phone all late talking about everything under the sun even though you had to be up early for school or a prior engagement the next day…. You didn’t care about yawning through the day because you just wanted to know them, who they are, what they were about, and just anything they wanted to tell you…

I remember writing out a favorites list… (You know a list of questions concerning favorite like “Favorite foods, movie, song, rapper etc…) just so we could talk about it. Me and they guys I liked never got through the whole list of questions… Once we got to music question conversation hit the ground running…

I remember that foundation that type of bond and as a woman that comes from that time I swear I miss it….

Now days between text messaging, twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc there is nothing to really talk about… If I’m apart of your networks I already know the answers to those questions (me and other thousands of people)… Everything seems so impersonal now… Truthfully speaking its getting just a tad bit irritating…

I don’t want to text you all day, call me to hear my voice and so that I can hear yours. I’d rather not be apart of any of your social networks because I kind of would like to be surprised when I ask “What did you do today?” Not just ask you for conversation sake… I’d like to build a foundation have quality conversations spend quality time… It means much more..

We have to stop letting technology rob us of our lives and the real love we are intended to experience…

Foundation, where are you?
